Wharton Interview Workshop by Admissions Gateway
Preparation for the Team-Based Discussion and the short individual interview that follows it, with an interactive workshop, a mock Team-Based Discussion and access to the Admissions Gateway Wharton TBD community.
The interview
A discussion, then a conversation.
Wharton interviews in a group. You join five or six randomly assigned applicants on Zoom for a Team-Based Discussion of about 35 minutes, built around a prompt you receive a week or two ahead. Each of you opens with a one-minute proposal, and the group then has to turn them into one plan and present it.
Straight afterwards comes a ten-minute individual interview with an admissions representative, usually about your role in the discussion and how the team reached its answer. Preparation covers the opening statement, how to contribute without dominating, and how to talk about it afterwards.
