1. About us
Admissions Gateway is a brand and trading name of AG Advisors, a company incorporated and registered in the Republic of Singapore, with its registered address at 15 Amber Road, #11-01 Sea View Point, Singapore 439865.
Throughout this page, “Admissions Gateway,” “AG,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to AG Advisors. “You,” “your,” “client,” and “applicant” refer to any person who visits this website, contacts us, or engages our services.
Any agreement you enter into for our services is with AG Advisors, not with any individual consultant, and not with Admissions Gateway as a separate legal person.
2. Terms of use
2.1 Acceptance
By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
2.2 What we do
We provide graduate admissions advisory services. This includes school selection guidance, application strategy, feedback on essays and resumes, interview preparation, scholarship and financial planning guidance, and related coaching and content.
We are an independent advisory firm.
2.3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to engage our services, or have the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using this website you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it.
2.4 No guarantee of outcomes
Admissions decisions are made solely by the schools you apply to. We do not control, influence, or have any special access to any admissions committee.
Nothing on this website, in our marketing, in our published results, or in any conversation with a member of our team constitutes a promise, warranty, or guarantee of admission, interview invitation, waitlist movement, scholarship, financial aid, visa approval, or any other outcome. Past results reflect the outcomes of past clients and are not a prediction of your result.
2.5 Your responsibilities and academic integrity
Our role is to advise, question, and give feedback. Your application must be your own work.
You agree that:
- All essays, short answers, resumes, and application forms are written and submitted by you.
- All information you provide to us and to schools is truthful and accurate.
- You will comply with the terms, honour codes, and policies of every school and testing body you engage with.
We do not write applications on your behalf, sit tests or interviews for you, contact schools on your behalf without your express instruction, fabricate credentials, or assist with any conduct we consider dishonest. We may end an engagement immediately, without refund, if we believe you have asked us to do so or have done so yourself.
2.6 Cancellation and refunds
Fees are non-refundable once paid. Where your service agreement sets out specific terms for your engagement, those terms apply.
Occasionally an online payment does not complete successfully, usually because of an issue at the bank, card provider, or payment gateway. Where an amount has not actually been credited to our account, we are not in a position to refund or adjust it. In these cases the payment provider normally returns the funds to you within three working days.
If a payment does go wrong, write to us. We will share the transaction details you need to raise it with your bank or provider, and we will work with you to resolve it quickly and amicably.
2.7 Intellectual property
All content on this website and in our materials, including text, guides, frameworks, templates, school resources, video, audio, graphics, and the Admissions Gateway name and logo, is owned by AG Advisors or used under licence and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
Materials we share with you during an engagement are licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with your own applications. You may not copy, publish, resell, redistribute, or share them with third parties, and you may not use them to train or fine-tune any machine learning model, without our prior written permission.
You retain ownership of your own essays, resumes, and personal materials. You grant us a limited licence to store, review, and annotate them for the purpose of delivering our services to you.
2.8 Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this website. In particular, you agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, scrape or harvest content or personal data from it, interfere with its operation or security, impersonate another person, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
2.9 Testimonials, results, and rankings
Client testimonials, reviews, admit statistics, scholarship figures, and third party rankings shown on this website reflect specific past outcomes and independent evaluations at the time they were published. They are illustrative only. Individual results vary, and third party rankings are the opinion of the publisher, not a statement by us.
Where we publish a client’s name, photograph, school, or story, we do so with that person’s permission. If you have given us permission and later wish to withdraw it, write to info@agadvisors.org and we will remove the material within a reasonable period.
2.10 No affiliation with schools or testing bodies
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any partnership with any business school, university, or testing organisation.
All school names, logos, and programme names are the trademarks of their respective institutions. GMAT and GMAT Focus Edition are registered trademarks of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). GRE and TOEFL are registered trademarks of Educational Testing Service (ETS). IELTS is a registered trademark of its respective owners. These organisations do not endorse and are not affiliated with Admissions Gateway. We reference these marks only to identify the tests and institutions we discuss.
2.11 Third party links, tools, and providers
This website may link to third party websites, tools, or service providers, including payment, financing, or currency exchange providers. We do not control these third parties and we are not responsible for their content, products, fees, exchange rates, terms, or privacy practices. Any dealings you have with them are solely between you and them. Where we mention a provider, it is for information only and is not a recommendation or endorsement, and it does not constitute financial, tax, immigration, or legal advice.
2.12 Disclaimers
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Application deadlines, class profiles, tuition figures, scholarship information, essay prompts, and school policies change frequently. We work to keep our content current, but you should always verify details directly with the school or institution before relying on them.
We do not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial, or medical advice. Our guidance is educational and advisory in nature.
2.13 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AG Advisors, its directors, employees, consultants, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary loss, or for any loss of opportunity, admission, scholarship, income, profit, savings, data, or reputation, however arising.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these terms, this website, or our services is limited to the total fees you have actually paid to us for the engagement giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
2.14 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of this website, or any inaccurate or dishonest information you submit to us or to a school.
2.15 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to this website, or an engagement, if you breach these terms, if we believe you have acted dishonestly, or if continuing would expose us to legal or reputational risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law, will continue to apply.
2.16 Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page with the date shown at the top is the version in effect. Material changes to an active engagement will be communicated to you directly.
2.17 Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
3. Privacy policy
3.1 Scope
This policy explains how AG Advisors collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use this website or engage our services. We are the data controller for that information. It is written to align with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and, where they apply to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act).
3.2 What we collect
You give us directly:
- Identity and contact details, such as name, email address, phone number, country, and city.
- Professional and academic information, such as your resume, work history, education, test scores, transcripts, certifications, and extracurricular activities.
- Application materials, such as essays, short answers, recommendation context, and interview notes.
- Financial and planning information relevant to scholarships, loans, or budgeting, where you choose to share it.
- Billing details needed to invoice you. We do not store full card numbers.
- Anything else you choose to tell us in calls, emails, forms, or messages.
We collect automatically:
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and time spent, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
From third parties:
- Referral information from partners or existing clients, and publicly available professional information such as a LinkedIn profile.
3.3 How we use it
We use personal data to deliver and improve our services, respond to your inquiries, prepare proposals and invoices, process payments, run our internal operations and record keeping, send you service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications, produce anonymised or aggregated statistics about outcomes, comply with legal obligations, and protect against fraud and misuse.
Where we publish results, testimonials, or case studies, we either seek your explicit permission first or present the information in a form that does not identify you.
3.4 Legal bases (where GDPR applies)
We rely on: performance of a contract with you; your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
3.5 Who we share it with
We share personal data only with:
- Members of our consulting and operations team who need it to serve you.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as email, cloud storage, scheduling, video conferencing, CRM, analytics, and payment processing providers, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, and lawyers.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to do so.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with schools without your instruction.
3.6 International transfers
We operate internationally, and our team and service providers may be located outside your country, including in Singapore, India, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps required by applicable law to ensure a comparable standard of protection, including contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
3.7 Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the website to function, together with cookies that measure how the site is used. This website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and how pages are used, and Microsoft Clarity to record aggregated interaction data such as scrolling and clicks so we can improve the site. Submitting the enquiry form also sends your details to our forms provider so we can respond to you.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work properly if you disable them.
3.8 Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted storage and transmission where appropriate, and confidentiality obligations for our team. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us government ID numbers, passport scans, or full financial account details unless we specifically ask for them through a secure channel.
3.9 Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of data, restriction of or objection to certain processing, a portable copy of data you provided, and withdrawal of consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@agadvisors.org. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation or an overriding legitimate ground to keep it.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us. We will still send you necessary service messages about an active engagement.
3.10 Children
Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe we hold such data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
3.11 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
3.12 Questions and complaints
Write to info@agadvisors.org with any question or concern about how we handle your data. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
